The website faces a technical challenge with its brand-new design. As the target audience is not accustomed to complex design structures, the website’s user experience may be hindered by overly intricate navigation and unfamiliar layouts. Without prior iterations, there’s a risk of overlooking user preferences and needs, potentially leading to confusion and disengagement among visitors. Furthermore, the absence of user feedback mechanisms may impede the website’s ability to adapt and improve over time.
Approach
To overcome these challenges, we prioritized simplicity and user-friendliness in its design. Implementing straightforward navigation menus and intuitive page layouts ensures that visitors can easily find the information they need without feeling overwhelmed. Clear calls-to-action guide users towards key actions, such as donating or volunteering, facilitating their engagement with the charity’s mission.
Considering the target audience’s limited familiarity with complex design structures, incorporating familiar design elements and patterns helps create a more comfortable browsing experience. Utilizing visual cues such as prominent headings, descriptive icons, and color contrasts aids in guiding users’ attention and understanding the website’s content.
